ISRO Jobs: Application Process:

Dates and Deadlines: The application process for ISRO Technician posts started on 9th December 2023 and will end on 31st December. So you still have time, but don’t miss the opportunity. apply within this period.

Application Fee: To fill the application form, all applicants have to pay a mandatory fee of Rs. 100 application fee along with an initial processing fee of Rs. 500 per application.

How to Apply for ISRO Technician Posts?

– Fill out the application form with accurate education and personal information.

– State the required application fee.

– Remember to keep the paper version for later use.

Eligibility criteria:

– Understand the special eligibility criteria of the technician you are applying for.

  1. – Technician-B (electronic mechanic)
  2. – Technician-B (Electrical)
  3. – Technician-B (instrument mechanic)
  4. – Technician-B (Photography)
  5. – Technician-B (Desktop Publishing Operator)

Educational qualification like SSLC/SSC pass and ITI/NTC/NAC are pre-requisite for ISRO technician posts.

Selection Process:

Written exam:

  1. – The first stage includes an 80-question multiple-choice exam that lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  2. – Each correct answer earns one point, but be careful, -0.33 points will be deducted for wrong answers.

Skill test:

  1. – This stage holds a total of 100 points.
  2. – To pass, applicants must get at least 32 points out of 80 written tests and 50 points out of 100 flight tests.
  3. – The pre-selection for the skills test is 1:5 in relation to the performance of the written test.

Age relaxation:

– SC/ST candidates: 5 years

– OBC candidates: 3 years

Please note that Ex-Servicemen, Comparatively Disabled, Central Government Employees and Meritorious Sportspersons are provided additional relaxation as per Government of India regulations.

Salary variation:

According to the ISRO job notification, level 3 technicians can expect a salary of Rs. 21,700 and Rs.69,100 respectively.

Once selected, the skills test is decisive for the final selection. The ISRO job notification mentions that the test will be conducted in batches at Hyderabad, in line with the evaluation result and vacancies.
